The effects of Dextra Groutec couplers on the global performance precast reinforced concrete frames are investigated by comparing criteria conventional RC structures to that said such elements connected end-to-end using these couplers. As provide continuity reinforcement, this mechanism can perform as a unit, and entire structural system be considered emulative long is comparable conventionally designed cast-in-place. inherently have lower strain compared reinforcing rebar, affecting structure if placed within critical regions near beam-column connection. present study conducted therefore comparative determine effect behavior cast-in-place considering following factors: Coupler location, size length, story height frame. Static pushover analysis 30 models carried out finite element software, Seismostruct. Pushover curves based three ultimate displacement, displacement ductility, energy dissipation. results revealed Couplers reduce capacity frame according criteria. Hybrid configuration, where bottom part CIP upper found most viable option obtain an response. longer bigger coupler, S28 also manifested more inferior S25. Lastly, not strong factor in response except for hybrid coupler at D distance away from joint face configurations.
